Parametric study on composite steel beams with precast
Composite steel beam with precast hollow core floor slabs. The precast-in-situ slab was first modelled as a flat horizontal plate with no beam in order to investigate the conditions in the compression region in the composite slab, and then a full composite beam was modelled to study the flexural behaviour.
